About his project Partijloos with Betty Ras

We created the voting project through our new institute called 'partijloos' ("without party", we still need to find an english name). The institute concerns itself with the innovation of society, through various projects.

Through the VotingPool people could split their vote between different parties instead of having to vote for only one.

The project was fun and quite a success, a lot of hits and we were taken extremely seriously by news media, made it to a national news show and we presented the resulted at the balie, which as well hosts the next5minutes conferences.

The purpose was creating an actual political innovation, as there had been lots of talk about the necessity of politics needing to be renewed after the murder of a major politician in may 2002. of course this led only to more calls for polticians listening to "the people", which resulting in stronger populist politics by all major parties.
